About Remeron
IMPORTANT NOTE: The following information is intended
to supplement, not substitute for, the expertise and
judgment of your physician, pharmacist or other healthcare

using this drug.
HOW TO USE: Follow the directions for using Remeron
provided by your doctor. Unless your doctor tells you
differently, Remeron should be taken in the evening
before bedtime. STORE Remeron at room temperature, away
from heat and light. CONTINUE TO TAKE Remeron even if
you feel better. Do not miss any doses. IF YOU MISS
A DOSE OF Remeron, take it as soon as possible. If it
is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose
and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do NOT
take 2 doses at once.
Side Effects
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include
drowsiness, weakness, dizziness, dry mouth, increased
appetite, weight gain, or constipation. If they continue
or are bothersome, check with your doctor. If you notice
other effects not listed above, contact your doctor,
nurse, or pharmacist.
Precautions
IT MAY TAKE 1 to 4 WEEKS for Remeron to work. Do not
stop using Remeron without checking with your doctor.
DO NOT DRIVE, OPERATE MACHINERY, OR DO ANYTHING ELSE
THAT COULD BE DANGEROUS until you know how you react
to Remeron. Using Remeron alone, with other medicines,
or with alcohol may lessen your ability to drive or
to perform other potentially dangerous tasks. Remeron
WILL ADD TO THE EFFECTS of alcohol and other depressants.
Ask your pharmacist if you have questions about which
medicines are depressants. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY
if you experience a sore throat, fever, or sore mouth
or gums. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either
prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor
or pharmacist. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT,
discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using
Remeron during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF Remeron IS
EXCRETED in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING
while you are using Remeron, check with your doctor
or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
Drug Interactions
Drug interactions can result in unwanted side effects
or prevent a medicine from doing its job. Use our drug

Overdose
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison
control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms
of overdose may include disorientation, sluggishness,
drowsiness or deep sleep, and loss of consciousness.
Notes
DO NOT SHARE Remeron with others for whom it was not
prescribed. DO NOT USE Remeron for other health conditions.
KEEP Remeron out of the reach of children. IF USING
Remeron FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, obtain refills
before your supply runs out.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as
remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for
the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume
your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to
catch up.
STORAGE: Store this medication at room temperature between
59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat
and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep this and
all medications out of the reach of children.
